Redesign Website and Optimization SEO Strategies
Client: Square House (Property Management)
Project: Live
Year: 2023
Project Overview
The project involves redesigning the website for SH, a property management company based in Texas and Okc. SH specializes in Airbnb property management, offering services such as cleaning, listing marketing, hosting management, repairs and maintenance, short-term rental management, and furnishing and design. The goal of the redesign is to optimize the website's SEO strategies, expand to new areas, and improve the overall user experience.
Users and Audience
The target audience for SH's website includes property owners in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Oklahoma City area, and the new areas they plan to expand to, such as San Antonio, Houston, and Tulsa. The users may vary from property owners looking for property management services to potential guests seeking short-term rentals. The website should cater to both these audiences, providing clear and relevant information, seamless navigation, and an appealing user interface.

Problem
The current Square House website has a few key problems. Firstly, the lack of consistency in the visual graphics and overall look of the site doesn't align with the quality of the beautiful property images they possess. This inconsistency can lead to a disconnect between the brand and user expectations. Secondly, the user flows on both mobile and desktop devices are not optimized, resulting in a longer journey to reach the desired end goal. This can potentially lead to user frustration and a higher bounce rate. Lastly, the website's SEO strategies need improvement, including optimizing keywords, enhancing site architecture, adding relevant blogs, and rebuilding the website to align with modern SEO practices.
Solution
-
To address these problems, the proposed solution involves a comprehensive redesign of the Square House website. This includes:
-
Designing a consistent visual treatment throughout the website, aligning it with the high-quality property images they possess. This will create a cohesive and visually appealing user experience.
-
Simplifying and minimizing user flows by streamlining the navigation and reducing unnecessary steps, ensuring users can reach their desired goals quickly and efficiently.
-
Utilizing imagery, color, shapes, typography, and form to enhance usability and improve the overall user experience, catering to both mobile and desktop users.
-
Collaborating with the SEO team to optimize keyword usage, improve site architecture, and add relevant blog content that aligns with Square House's target audience and SEO goals.
-
Rebuilding the website with modern SEO practices in mind, ensuring responsiveness, optimized page loading times, and a user-friendly interface.
-
By implementing these solutions, the redesigned Square House website will provide a visually consistent, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized experience, attracting both property owners and potential guests, while maximizing rental income for property owners.
-
Customized Page Location: As part of the website redesign, customizing the page location will be a crucial element. With Square House expanding to new areas such as San Antonio, Houston, and Tulsa, it's essential to provide specific information and services tailored to each location.
To achieve this, the website will include dedicated pages for each target city or area. These pages will provide localized content, including information about the local real estate market, property management services specific to the area, and relevant attractions or amenities in the vicinity. By customizing the page location, Square House can effectively target property owners and potential guests in each specific region, providing them with tailored information and improving their overall experience on the website.
