Challenge
To redesign the Aster Cucine Milano Showroom to better communicate Aster’s brand identity with respect to the strategic location of Milan, being a design destination. From a simple normal showroom to be showroom that welcomes you to be part of Aster's experience. Our goal is to create a showroom that welcomes visitors to be part of the Aster experience, where they can customize and tailor their kitchen solutions to their unique preferences.
The Overview
To establish the brand's identity as a provider of personalized kitchen solutions, we have devised a plan that revolves around effective interior design. By implementing a two-tiered approach, with an upper and lower level, we aim to enhance the visual and functional aspects of the material discussion room. Furthermore, we will make clarity improvements throughout the rest of the showroom.
Operating under the concept of Aster PlayLab, our goal is to enable customers to personalize, experiment, and play with their dream kitchen using both physical and digital mediums. This approach will empower customers to actively engage with the design process, allowing them to create a kitchen that perfectly aligns with their unique vision and preferences.
Function & Personalize
The Upper Level of the showroom is dedicated to creating an immersive and experiential environment centered around personalization. Upon entering the Aster Showroom, visitors will receive a warm Italian welcome through a café/bar area. To the right of the bar, a cozy lounge space awaits, providing customers with a comfortable spot to enjoy their beverages. On the left side of the café/bar, there is a dedicated workstation area, divided into three main sections: the physical workstation, the digital workstation, and the photo booth.
IDEA
A café provides a simple and effective way to attract people to the space, even if they may not initially be interested in the kitchen. By offering a warm welcome and serving Italian coffee, we aim to introduce people to the Aster brand and associate it with kitchen-related concepts. The café will be decorated in line with the same concept as the Aster Coffee Lab, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere for visitors.
Build Me Station
The digital touchpoint allows individuals to customize their own kitchen in a digital manner. Through innovative technology and interactive tools, visitors can personalize various elements of their kitchen design to suit their preferences and style.
Play Station
The physical touchpoint allows individuals to customize their dream kitchen in a tangible manner. Similar to a dollhouse, the Mini Aster model showcases various mood settings of Aster kitchens, enabling you to mix and match styles according to your preferences.
